Smaller Parks in Ashburn and Loudoun County*


Ashburn Park: Sixteen acres with three age-appropriate playground units, a picnic pavilion, and a trails network. 43645 Partlow Road, Ashburn


Ashburn Annex is on three acres and features a basketball court, three half-basketball courts, and a softball field.


Beth Miller Park: A nine-acre passive park, located in Belmont Greene, adjacent to Trailside Park. It contains walking trails, a gazebo and a pond.


Bles Park: The 124-acre property includes a 30-acre active park with soccer fields, walking/hiking trails, a tot lot, a parking lot and restrooms and a 94-acre passive park with wetlands that will contain sections of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail and Broad Run Corridor Trail. From Route 7 in Ashburn, take the Presidential Drive entrance into University Center, turn right onto George Washington Blvd., turn left onto Riverside Parkway and follow to Bles Park. 44830 Riverside Parkway in the University Center development of Ashburn.


Brambleton Fields Site: Located along Belmont Ridge Road within the Brambleton Regional Park, this park is adjacent to the National Recreation and Park Association headquarters. The facility includes two softball fields and four large baseball fields. Donegal Drive near the intersection of Dabner Drive in South Donegal Drive near the intersection of Dabner Drive in South Riding. Amenities include basketball courts, three tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, two soccer fields, a pond and parking facilities.


Breezyhill - Multi-Purpose Athletic Field. This field is perfect for soccer, lacrosse, football, etc. Located at the Breezyhill Recreation Area (off Hay Road) in Ashburn.


Countryside Park: A one-acre facility on Countryside Boulevard that contains an outdoor asphalt basketball court.


Edgar Tillet Memorial Park: Contains two lighted baseball fields and two lighted softball fields. The 51-acre park has sweeping views of the Beaverdam Reservoir and is located at the intersection of Belmont Ridge Road and Truro Parish Road, near Broadlands.


Elizabeth Mills Riverfront Park: The property includes 122 acres of passive parkland with access to the Potomac River and Goose Creek. The park is home to the historic Elizabeth Mills canal lock system and will contain a section of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail. From the Lansdowne Boulevard entrance, cross over Riverside Parkway, turn right onto Riverpointe Drive, turn right onto Squirrel Ridge Place. Squirrel Ridge Place leads all the way down the hill, curves alongside of the golf course, and ends at the parking lot for Elizabeth Mills. 43513 Squirrel Ridge Place  Note: Kephart Bridge Landing is located within the park.


Evergreen Mills Equestrian & Hiking Trail: This is a five-mile, multi-use loop, located around the perimeter of the Loudoun County landfill. The trailhead and parking lot are located at 21332 The Woods Road, south of Leesburg. The trail is temporarily closed during landfill expansion construction.


Fincastle Field is a 5-acre park in Ashburn Village that includes a basketball court, two soccer fields, and a softball field. The park is located at the intersection of Fincastle Rd and Ashburn Village Blvd, just south of Ashburn Elementary School.


Franklin Park is a regional park in the western portion of Loudoun County. Its 203 acres of rolling hills harbor majestic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Greg Crittenden Memorial Park: Located in Ashburn Farm at the corner of Ashburn Farm Parkway and Windmill Drive is a 16-acre park with three baseball/softball fields and a snack bar. 21401 Windmill Dr. Ashburn


Keep Loudoun Beautiful Park: A three-point-four-acre park located adjacent to the historic Goose Creek truss bridge along Rt. 7, east of Leesburg. The park has picnic facilities and a boat launch, and is ideal for fishing.


Kephart Bridge Landing: Kephart Bridge Landing is the canoe and kayak launch facility located within Elizabeth Mills Riverfront Park at 43942 Riverpoint Drive. The landing is accessed from Riverpoint Drive. From the park, take Squirrel Ridge Drive back to Riverpoint Drive. Turn right. Continue on Riverpoint Drive and cross over Upper Belmont Place. The entrance to the landing will be on the left. From the Belmont Ridge Road entrance, cross over Riverside Parkway, turn left onto Riverpoint Drive.


Landsdowne Sports Park: This 15-acre active park is located on Kipheart Drive in Landsdowne, adjacent to Belmont Ridge Middle School. The park contains two large soccer fields, one 300-foot softball field, a tot lot, a 60-person pavilion, a 30-person pavilion and restrooms.


Lovettsville Community Park: This park is currently under development. The future 91-acre park will be located east of the Town of Lovettsville along Milltown Road. Plans for the park call for an equestrian facility, off-leash dog area, amphitheater, fishing pond, community garden, nature study area, soccer and baseball fields, and hiking trails.


Lucketts Community Park: Located just south of the Lucketts school and Community Center. Situated on ten acres of land, the park includes a soccer field, a lighted adult softball field, and a trails network. 42361 Lucketts Road, Leesburg


Loudoun County Park at Stone Ridge (to be named): 26-acre property with three large soccer fields, one large softball field, two small baseball fields, an asphalt trail and 190 parking spaces. 21945 Mineral Springs Circle, Aldie.


Lyndora Park: 17-acre park includes a soccer field, softball field, tot lot, parking lot and trails. 43624 Lucketts Bridge Circle, Ashburn


Mickie Gordon Memorial Park
: Located one mile east of Middleburg off Rt. 50, the park includes a lighted baseball field, three soccer fields, three baseball fields, two tennis courts, a Little League field, a picnic pavilion, and a small pond for fishing. Carters Farm Lane, Middleburg

Mill Recreation Field in Ashburn Village is a 2-acre park that includes a soccer field. The field is located off Gloucester Pkwy between Ashburn Rd and Ashburn Village Blvd.


Nell Boone Park: A three-acre park located on Rt. 671, in the Neersville community. Park facilities include basketball and tennis courts, a children's playground and a baseball/softball field. 11762 Harper’s Ferry Road


Potomack Lakes Sportsplex: Is a 47-acre athletic complex with four lighted softball fields, six soccer fields, large playground, pavilion and concession stand. Located off of Route 7 on Cascades Parkway- North, next to Algonkian Regional Park in Sterling, Virginia (703) 444-1459


Trailside Park:
Located at the end of Clairbourne Parkway in Ashburn Farm. Its 20 acres offers three lighted baseball fields, an in-line hockey court, and a snack bar. 20375 Clairbourne Parkway, Ashburn Farm


W.D. Parsells Field in Broadlands is on Waxpool Rd (Where Waxpool becomes Truro Parish Rd). The field is about 1/3 mile south of the Broadlands Visitors Center and includes a Little League baseball diamond.


Windmill West Park is located at the Ashburn Farm Visitors Center, across the street from Crittenden Park.


Wintergrove Field is a 1-acre parcel that contains a soccer field and Volleyball court. Located off Wintergrove Drive and Gatwick Square.


Woodgrove Park
: A 30-acre park located on Woodgrove Road north of Round Hill. The park offers fields for baseball, little league, soccer and softball. 17020 Evening Star Drive, Round Hill
